The developer played in Grand Theft Auto 5 on the new Apple TV [video]

A developer named Kevin Smith showed the app to the Apple TV, allowing you to broadcast games from the PC to the TV screen. Video demonstration posted on the YouTube channel of the programmer.

The Smith decision is an adaptation to a set-top box Apple version of the app Moonlight, which MacDigger told earlier. On the mobile platform client is implemented in the form of ready apps available in the App store.

The main purpose of the Moonlight — streaming games from PC to any Steam supported operating systems on Apple TV on the same network. According to the developer, the compact box easily transmits a 1080p image at 60 frames per second with little delay, imperceptible to most players. Moreover, these values will be achieved not only with a wired connection, but when streaming via Wi-Fi.

“The service works on your TV, the ideal solution for the living room with Apple TV and controllers Nimbus,” wrote the developer. On the video it launches on the TV in the game GTA V, which is broadcast with its Windows-based PC with two graphics cars Nvidia 970 in SLI. The computer is connected to Apple TV via Ethernet.

Previously Kevin Smith has launched on Apple TV popular gaming consoles emulator MAME and played a few classic video games: Donkey Kong, Galaga, Street Fighter II, Raiden, and Metal Slug – Super Vehicle. Video demonstration of the process is also represented on the YouTube channel of Smith.
