The developer of “Yandex” has released an app for blocking ads in the subway

In iOS 9 introduced the use of blockers of advertisement in regular Internet Explorer, Safari. This did not fail to take advantage of application developers who offer a large number of specialized software. One of the recent innovations of the App store was the app “Metroblog” designed for blocking ads when you sign in to Wi-Fi in the Moscow metro. Its Creator is the developer of “Yandex” Alexander Baranov.

“Metroblog” performs a single function: when logging into the network MosMetro_Free it is not possible to run any banners by the “Maximalism” of the website wi-fi.ru.

“No more videos that interrupts your music and banners full screen”, — stated in the app description. The application is completely free, however, Baranov said that in the future the program will get paid functions and the ability to block other resources. But not all will get in the list of sites where ads will be switched off.

“I wouldn’t want to provide users with longer page load times and spent battery because of tracking scripts, but do not would like to harm the little websites with no annoying ads, which it survive,” he explained.

In may the company “Maximalism” has launched in the Moscow metro commercial service: every user Wi-Fi can get rid of the ads by paying 99 per month. In addition, this subscription enables transparent authentication.
