Krylovskiy rayon court of Krasnodar region has demanded to block the site on Pornhub Russia as containing information detrimental to the health and development of children. This is stated in the decision on the court’s website.
“Found that on the Internet identified sites containing information prohibited by the law of pornographic material (images, movies, videos)”, — stated in the court decision.
According to the court, PornHub falls under action of the law on the protection of children from information harmful to their health and development. Thus, the contents pornosite recognized prohibited throughout the country. In addition to PornHub, the list to be blocked were still ten pornographic resources, said Lenta.
Blocking sites is carried out by the courts or out of court by a decision of the authorized state bodies (Federal drug control service, Federal service, Roskomnadzor and the Prosecutor General). Roskomnadzor leads the unified register of prohibited information, where are the links to the sites and pages where this information is found. In most cases, after the message of Roskomnadzor resource owners to remove unwanted information, and only 15% is blocked. To challenge the decision of the authorized body of the resource owners are in court and the judicial decision to a higher court.
