Smartphone LG G6 needs to be introduced early next week during the Mobile World Congress 2017 to be held in Barcelona. The network has already been demonstrated live photos of the smartphone, and now it became known the cost of new items coming. It is reported that the price of the device with display “edge to edge”, but with an outdated processor will be at the same level with the price of the iPhone 7.
According to sources in China, LG G6 will be sold at a price of 5200 yuan, or about 44 000. Thus, in Russia the cost of the Korean flagship will be in the region of 50 000. In other words, consumers will have a choice: to buy the iPhone 7 with a top processor and advanced camera, or “Google phone” with a very controversial piece of hardware.
Recall, LG G6 will receive a 5.7-inch display with a resolution of 2880 x 1440 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9, last year’s Qualcomm Snapdragon processor 821, 4 GB of RAM and battery capacity of 3200 mAh. The strength of the new items will be display: LG G6 can beat the iPhone 7 and many other flagship model by the ratio of the area of the display to the area of the front panel.
In addition, LG G6 will boast of dual camera with a resolution of 13 megapixels and Android operating system 7.0 “Nougat” out of the box. Also the flagship gets all-metal housing, protected to IP68 standard.
The official show of the LG G6 is expected at a special press conference on February 26.
