Apple signed an agreement with the National hockey League (NHL), in which all coaches and referees will use the iPad during matches. On Friday, reports The Verge.
The coaches, who will provide three tablet computer, the iPad will be able to view the disputed issues and to subsequently apply to the arbitrators. Those, in turn, will be able to reach a verdict in the controversial decision after watching on the tablet screen.
The full scale of the initiative will be implemented starting next season. However, the iPad will be available to all 16 teams in the play-offs.
