The margin of retailers for the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus at the start of sales ranged from 4 to 12.5% and from 5 to 12.5%, respectively, according to “Vedomosti” with reference to the decision of the Federal Antimonopoly service (FAS). Earlier the Antimonopoly regulator has recognized Apple guilty of illegal price coordination on the iPhone.
Sales of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus started in Russia in October 2015, most retailers have established and kept for 2-3 months at the same prices for these smartphones. Another model — the iPhone 6 Plus with 128 GB of memory were purchased at prices ranging from 73 to 79 491 790 roubles, and in retail the smartphone is sold at a price of from 83 to 83 989 999 rubles. Thus, the mark-up retailers in the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus at the start of sales ranged from 4 to 12.5% and from 5 to 12.5%, respectively.
