The fashion for “smart” watches continues to grow. It is believed that the first representative of this family was released by Samsung. In an effort to outpace the “Apple” competitor Koreans hastily showed his vision of an electronic bracelet. For Samsung followed by Sony, LG and even Huawei, who could not stay away, though none of them was able to offer “must have”model. And here on the market came Apple with the Apple Watch in various modifications.
Did Apple invent something revolutionary? Why do we need wearable technology? Analysts of Agency and Fortune Mobile Life Centre has conducted its own investigation and gathering evidence from the owners of the Apple Watch, figured out what daily tasks they often use “smart” watches.
As it turned out, the Apple Watch owners use them for about 60-80 times a day. The most popular feature of an electronic bracelet remains the test of time. It takes about 50% of the time during which users interact with Apple Watch. In the second place to view notifications (17%), followed by measurements during exercise (6%), the fourth – view of notification Center (6%).
Apple is promoting the Apple Watch as the device from which you can order a taxi, pay for purchases or to check the schedule. Studies show, however, that while the majority of the holders of new items prefer to check the time and view notifications, and not to use the software.
If you believe the analysts, most owners ignore the communication function, giving preference to the traditional making calls using a smartphone. To view the letters, the Apple Watch owners use the gadget 1-2 times a month.
Of course, this does not mean that use cases the Apple Watch won’t change. Much depends not only from Apple but also from developers who can bring in the experience of using the device for something new.
