SPUD: 24-inch foldable display, which operate on the principle of an umbrella [video]

Arovia the company has developed a portable monitor that folds and unfolds according to the principle of the umbrella. A device called SPUD (Spontaneous Pop-up Display) in working condition provides users with a screen diagonal of 24 inches with an aspect ratio of 16:9.

To Finance serial production SPUD launched a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter. The developers planned to collect $33 000, they managed it in half an hour. The first customers booked foldable monitor for $349, now you can order new for $374. In June 2017, when SPUD goes on sale, the price will be set at $500.
