Vice-speaker of the state Duma Irina Yarovaya suggested to oblige Roskomnadzor to inform the interior Ministry about the discovery of illegal content in the Network. It was announced during the meeting of the working group in the State Duma of the Russian Federation.
“We have somehow put into law the most important duty of Roskomnadzor immediately inform the interior Ministry to ensure that those already assessed, which is the case: an offense or crime… We need to try and start with this”, — quotes “RIA Novosti” the words of Spring.
The Deputy proposed to deal with the theme of suicide and other illegal content on the Internet.
“As the doctor is obliged to immediately inform the police if the patient entered with signs committed against him of illegal actions, in the same way that content… So our suggestion is the following: to amend the law establishing such a duty,” she added.
The working group was established in November 2016 at the initiative of the Vice-speaker of the state Duma Irina Yarovaya to develop measures to protect the life of the Internet users. The working group included representatives of the Investigative Committee of the Prosecutor General, interior Ministry, Supreme court, Ministry of justice, Ministry of health, Ministry of education, Roskomnadzor, Rospotrebnadzor and the Center of psychiatry and addiction to them.
