Sony Xperia XZ Premium is recognized as the best new smartphones from MWC 2017

At MWC 2017 has been shown many serious competitors to the iPhone. But among them was only one product on the flagship Snapdragon 835 – Sony Xperia XZ Premium. And this camera was named the best smartphone at MWC version of the GSM Association (GSMA).

The Japanese company goes home from Barcelona with one of the biggest awards of MWC 2017 — the prize for the best smartphone. What has fascinated the competent jury: not changing the design or 4K display running most of the time in Full-HD?

In addition to the Xperia XZ Premium at the exhibition were shown and interesting LG G6 and Huawei P10 Plus. But the Sony product is still ahead of the competition. Experts pointed out several advantages of this model: the Snapdragon 835, 4K display, powerful camera and design. But most likely Sony won in the absence of a more or less sane competition in the current exhibition.

Despite the fact that the Japanese had already abandoned the line of Xperia Z, new Xperia XZ Premium continues to use the signature Omnibalance design. And the smartphone has a casing with front and back glass panels Gorilla Glass 5 with an amazing mirror-like finish. A certificate guarantees IP68 protection from water and dust.

Xperia XZ Premium boasts mode slo-mo at 960 frames/s and 5.5-inch screen with a resolution of 3840×2160 pixels. But in full resolution, as it became known, the device only works when watching videos and images. It’s new, but because earlier late spring to expect the smartphone from Sony is not worth it.
