Sony recommends to wait with upgrading laptops Vaio to Windows 10

Last year Sony sold the Vaio brand by the relevant division of the investment Fund, however, the Japanese manufacturer continues to support previously sold devices. On the support website of the company came the recommendation to refrain from installing Windows 10 on a line of laptops Vaio. The reason is simple – lack of drivers.

Sony warns of the need to wait for the moment when they are ready all the necessary hardware drivers Vaio on Windows 10. The company is currently under testing supported models. In the near future promised to release compatible with Windows 10 drivers for the devices that are now running on the previous version of the OS.

“Highly recommend to refrain from installing Windows 10 on Vaio laptops until the relevant drivers to ensure full operability of your notebook,” reads a Sony statement.

Sony promises to provide new information regarding a possible update in August. It also says that the laptop which was preinstalled with Windows 8.1, the drivers will appear not earlier than October 2015, and if Vaio user was running Windows 8 you will have to wait until November.

With respect to release drivers for VAIO devices, which were sold with a preinstalled operating system Windows 7, says nothing. New information should appear in August.
