Smart watch New Balance will compete with Apple Watch

American company New Balance has presented its model of “smart” watches, created in collaboration with Intel. According to representatives of the company, the new product can be regarded as a competitor to the Apple Watch.

“Smart” watch called RunIQ is equipped with a round of 1.39-inch display, equipped with 512 MB of RAM and a flash drive 4 GB. Specifications wearable devices include optical heart rate sensor, GPS module, accelerometer and gyroscope. The watch is water resistant up to 5 ATM, meaning the opportunity to take showers with them and swim in the pool, and dive to a depth.

Thanks to the integrated GPS smart watch will allow the runner to determine pace and distance. Also with the help of RunIQ you can read notifications when you are using them paired with a smartphone, connecting via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth.

Smart New Balance watch available for pre-order for about $300. Starting February 1, the smart watch will be sold in the online store New Balance.
