Apple CEO Tim cook explained his participation at the meeting of the representatives of the largest IT companies with U.S. President Donald trump the need to engage with the authorities of the country. The event was held last week.
Tim cook answered a question about his participation in the meeting with trump during the session of questions and answers provided by Apple. The head of the Corporation emphasized that the us government can have a significant impact on the company’s performance, which can be both positive and negative.
According to cook, Apple activity is associated with different areas, including protection of users ‘ privacy, education, and preservation of the environment. Also, he mentioned direct and indirect job creation, noting that in the US, the Corporation gave work to 2 million people, many of whom are developing applications for iPhone and Mac.
Cook noted that the company wishing to communicate its position on issues associated with these and other aspects of its activities, could not stand by and must interact with government in USA, EU, China or South America.
“I think this is very important because you can’t change anything by shouting. You change things, by showing all that your chosen way is the best,” wrote cook.
