After a long wait the jailbreak community finally got an alternative to the popular jailbreak tweak Auxo. As Auxo 3 is not yet updated to support iOS 8.4, users who jailbreak can take advantage of Seng – a worthy substitute for a functional jailbreak addon from Charlie Hewitt.
At first glance, Seng indistinguishable from Auxo. Here the same three main functional features that Auxo 3: multi-center, quick switches, “hot” corners. In fact, the tweaks are largely different.
As Auxo, Seng involves combining two key user interface elements of iOS control center and multitasking. It is accessed by a simple swipe gesture up, by analogy with the control center on iOS. Thus, the user no need to press twice on the Home button to launch multitasking. Using the swipe up “card” application, it can be close, and a similar gesture on the thumbnail of the home screen allows you to close all apps at once.
Thus Seng suggests an alternate arrangement of interactive elements on the panel. The user has the ability to place any of the available panels in the top and/or bottom of the screen and in any order. There are no limits, and the same buttons to turn on and off wifi, Bluetooth and Airplane mode, you can add up or down. And there are plenty to choose. In addition to tumblers available shortcuts for quick launch, buttons AirDrop and AirPlay, the panel of the media player, the name of the track/performance, slider volume and screen brightness.
If you delve into the settings Seng, you can find a lot of different adjustable parameters that allow you to personalize the interface panel. For example, you can display the player only during playback, set “hot corners” for a quick return to the home screen, change the animations, enable or disable application icons, etc.
Despite the beta status, the tweak works quite stable. Worked Seng in great detail, the downside may be is that the lack of multitasking shortcuts to your favourite contacts and those who recently the call was made.
