Sega presented a new project Sega Forever, in which smartphones became available an entire catalog of classic games companies – for free with ads or for $ 2 for no ads in any selected name.

“We decided not to pay a model, and earn advertising. It democratizare retro-gaming, brings it into the mainstream. Our tests show that the demand is there. It is clear that different titles will be met in different ways, especially when compared to Sonic or Crazy Taxi with something niche like Comix Zone. But we are building a network that will allow us to support all games.”
At the start of the game Forever will be available for five games, original released for consoles of the fourth generation Sega Mega Drive: Sonic the Hedgehog, Altered Beast, Kid Chameleon, Comix Zone and Phantasy Star II.
But the ambition of the company is much bigger. Not producing their own hardware since the early 2000s, the company decided Sega Forever as an ever-expanding library of classic titles, including both emulation and ports. Sega plans to regularly add new projects to the application directory every two weeks.
Sega promised that all games would retain the visual quality and the spirit of the originals, but will be fully adapted for modern smartphones with touchscreen. And the promised controller support.
Forever Sega for iOS and Android will appear in the App Store and Google Play tomorrow.
