Samsung will take the presentation of the Galaxy Note 5 to be ahead of the iPhone 6s

Samsung will take the date of the announcement of the Galaxy Note 5 from September 2015 to mid-August and thus distances itself from the presentation of the iPhone 6s. At least, such information includes the Wall Street Journal. The South Korean company allegedly expects that Galaxy Note 5 will get more media attention if the debut phablet will be held earlier than Apple will announce the iPhone 6s.

In recent years, Samsung has revealed an updated version of its phablet at IFA in early September. In the past year presentation and the launch of the iPhone 6 passed around the same time, thereby dragging a fair share of attention upon themselves. Apparently, this year Samsung decided not to repeat last year’s mistakes: if Galaxy Note 5 will be released in September he doesn’t get the attention in the volume.

Galaxy Note first generation was introduced in 2011. It is believed that this model has a new category of mobile devices, where Samsung held the lead until the release of the iPhone 6 Plus. The company will announce a new device in the line Note every year at the same event. In 2015 the exhibition will be held from 4 to 9 September.

Samsung purposefully threw the announcement of its flagship smartphone Samsung Galaxy S and Galaxy Note phablets for six months of each other, the newspaper stresses. Such a schedule allows you to release a new flagship device in each of the two categories every six months. Each of them gets enough media attention.

According to unconfirmed reports, the Galaxy Note 5 will have a glass back panel, the battery capacity of 4100 mAh, the main camera with optical stabilization system and the ability to record 4K video. Resolution 5,67-inch display will be 2560 x 1440 pixels. The device will be based on the Exynos processor 7422 Samsung own design.
