Samsung released Galaxy Note 8, devoted to the winter Olympic games

Samsung is a worldwide partner of the Olympic games for a long time. No exception and the upcoming winter Olympics, which will be held in February of 2018 in the South Korean city of Pyeongchang.

Continuing the tradition of the production of exclusive smartphones, Samsung has developed a limited edition Galaxy Note 8 on the upcoming sporting event.

A new smartphone – it’s the same Galaxy Note 8, specs and capabilities it is no different from the standard model. The main difference is the visual design. The device – black and white with a gold frame around the edges. Stylus S Pen – white-and-gold. Back of the phone is decorated with gold Olympic rings. On smartphones the default themes and Wallpapers dedicated to the Olympic games in 2018, as well as downloaded apps that should be useful to participants of sports meets.

Smartphones limited edition not available in the free market. There are only 4,000 pieces, and they will be presented to the International Olympic Committee and organizing Committee of Pyeongchang-gun city, and all the participants of the Olympic and Paralympic games.

For the first time Samsung has become a partner of the Olympic games in 1988 in Seoul. Later, the company became the global sponsor of the Olympic games, and since 1998 is the main supplier of wireless communication and mobile devices.

Olympic and Paralympic winter games will begin February 9, 2018. Their official closing will take place on the 25th of February 2018.
