Samsung is willing to pay $200 to those who will abandon the iPhone in favor of the Galaxy Note 5 or Galaxy S6 edge+

Last week Samsung launched a marketing campaign, intending to attract iPhone users to its new smartphones. The program, which received high-profile name, Ultimate Test Drive, offers owners of Apple smartphones for $ 1 to try out the Galaxy S6, Galaxy Note 5 or Galaxy S6 edge.

Koreans thought so little and they did an even better app. Anyone who after testing I agree to switch from iPhone to Galaxy will receive $100 to buy games, music and apps in Google Play. Another $100 will get from Samsung those users who agree to give up its iPhone trade-in program.

“During our next test drive we want to offer those wishing to try out the newest Samsung smartphones without any commitment,” said Vice President of Samsung’s marketing Elizabeth Solomon.

Such initiatives are part of the strategy Samsung for the preservation and increase of the share of the global mobile market in the face of strong competition and falling sales. Korean giant even tried to get in this year head start over Apple by releasing Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 edge+ a few weeks before the official announcement of the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus.

According to representatives of Samsung, Ultimate Test Drive is in great demand among iPhone users. “Interest in the stock was just incredible,” stated Vice President of Samsung’s marketing Elizabeth Solomon, noting that the company has finished all the promotional device literally within hours.
