This week Samsung released a teaser of devices that will show the presentation on August 13. In the picture there are clearly three devices, two of which we already know: phablets Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge Plus. Third, presumably, is tablet. It can be as Galaxy Tab S2, and the new Galaxy Tab Note. If you believe the resource Zauba, it could be a much larger device.
In the database of the site there was a mention about a certain Samsung tablet has a display diagonal of 18.4 inches. Of course, not the fact that this device is what we think, and to imagine it can be much later. But earlier in the assortment of Samsung was nothing like this.
Such a huge amount of hypothetical competitor iPad Pro suggests that the South Korean novelty will become a niche product and is unlikely to be intended for the consumer market.
