Samsung Galaxy S8+ with CPU Exynos 8895 ahead of iPhone 7 Plus performance

Flagship Samsung Galaxy smartphones and Galaxy S8 S8+ can be based on the Snapdragon processor 835 or proprietary Exynos 8895. The manufacturer from South Korea traditionally uses for top models two different SoC. According to testing Galaxy S8 AnTuTu version of the device with a single-chip system Exynos 8895 ahead of performance, the iPhone 7 Plus, while the model based on Snapdragon 835 inferior to last year’s flagship Apple.

Today, the Internet appeared test, which compares two versions of the new flagship of the South Korean Corporation. In this case we used the Galaxy S8+, but it doesn’t matter, as the device is different from the smaller models only dimensions and battery capacity.

As you can see, in most tests the version of the smartphone based on the Exynos is faster 8895. In AnTuTu it scored 174 070 points against 173 110 the iPhone 7 Plus. Smartphone Samsung on the basis of the Snapdragon 835 showed the result of 168 to 133, giving the “Apple” competitor.

In some tests the graphics performance of both models Galaxy S8+ lost iPhone 7 Plus. Apple was ahead in GFX 3.1 Manhattan (onscreen) and Basemark ES 3.1, but lost to competitors in GFX 3.1 Manhattan (1080p offscreen).

Note that the Snapdragon 835 includes a graphical module 540 Adreno and Exynos platform 8895 got graphics Mali G71 MP20.

In the benchmark Geekbench, the Apple smartphone is predictable ahead of 8-core Galaxy S8 in the test mode a single core, but lost in multi-core mode.
