In February the exhibition of mobile electronics MWC 2016 in Barcelona, LG unveiled its new flagship smartphone G5, a feature of which was the modular design. And now, after a month since the official announcement, the company announced details about the release date and the cost of new.
According to LG, sales of LG G5 in the various countries of the world will begin on 31 March and 1 April, the smartphone will appear on the territory of the USA. Taking pre-orders already started.
LG G5 received the 5.3-inch display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and the “Always On”, CPU Qualcomm Snapdragon 820, 4 GB RAM and flash drive 32 GB. The main camera of the device has a dual design and are 16 – and 8-megapixel modules. In this case it is equipped with dual led flash, laser focus and optical image stabilization.
The device also boasts a metal body, fingerprint scanner on back side, support for microSD up to 2 TB and USB port-C. Power supply provides battery capacity of 2800 mAh. Due to the multi-use terminal Magic Slot devices makes it easy to replace the regular battery.
Information about what in the free market LG G5 can be purchased for $600, was not confirmed. In the stores, Best Buy South Korean flagship will cost $800. In the USA the LG G5 will get an extra battery and charger, and an adapter that is inserted into the connector USB-C and allows the use of usual cables for charging.
It also became known, what will be the accessories line for the LG Friends. Module LG Cam Plus, which is equipped with an additional battery of 1200 mAh, and the control unit makes a more comfortable grip and adds a physical button for photo, video and zoom, will cost $85. In some countries, instead of an extra battery the LG get LG G5 Cam Plus.
Another plug-in module to LG G5, LG called Hi-Fi Plus, and represents a high quality audio player, developed in collaboration with B&O PLAY, will cost $160. Action camera 360 LG Cam will be sold at a price of $200.
