Rival MacBook Pro from ASUS comes with a backpack and suitcase carry

ASUS has released a laptop GX800, which was productive hardware. The device has a docking station with liquid cooling for extreme overclocking the CPU, graphics controller, memory, and case for carrying the kit.

ASUS GX800 features an 18.4-inch display with a resolution Ultra HD (3840×2160 pixels) and supports G-Sync. The configuration of the laptop includes an Intel Core i7-6820HK and two 3D-card GeForce GTX 1080.

The flow of coolant first cools the CPU, then the first card in SLI, then the second. This ensures optimal heat dissipation. Good cooling allowed to increase the CPU frequency to 4.2 GHz, GPU to 1.96 GHz. The memory clock increased to 5200 MHz system memory DDR4 — 2800 MHz. In the test 3DMark Fire Strike Ultra, the laptop shows 10 395 points.

The filling consists of three notebook SSD M. 2 with NVMe support, which are combined in RAID 0, ports USB-C, wireless adapter Wi-Fi 802.11 ac with external antenna. The autonomy of the product ensures active mode battery capacity 93 W·h

The manufacturer also notes mechanical keyboard MechTAG with a clear reaction to keystrokes, full color led backlight with the setting of individual keys and anti-ghosting keys technology, covering the entire keyboard and “ensure that none of the press will not be missed”.

Package ASUS ROG GX800 comes with a backpack and a suitcase to transport the laptop. Dimensions of new items is 458 × 338 × 454 mm weight 5,7 kg, dimensions of the cooling system — 359 × 418 × 133 mm and weight 4.7 kg. Respectively, the weight of the entire complex is more than 10 kg.
