The company Omate has announced plans to launch a campaign for collective fundraising for a curious model of “smart” hours. “Chip” Omate Rise is support for cellular 3G 1900/2100 MHz.
Rise are enclosed in a polycarbonate shell with a carbon fibre bezel, which is located inside a round 1.3 inch display with a resolution of 360 x 360 pixels protected by sapphire glass. In the core hardware platform is a chip MediaTek MT2601, composed of two core ARM Cortex-A7 with a frequency up to 1.2 GHz, graphics Mali-T400 and 512 MB RAM.
From other equipment Omate Rise: a 4-Gigabyte flash drive, wireless adapter Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, accelerometer, gyroscope and GPS module.
Battery capacity of 580 mAh enough for 2 days of moderate use this device, or 5 days of standby. The device is protected from moisture, however, swim without removing it, still not, but take a shower or be in the rain without problems.
As a software platform in Omate Rise used the Android operating system 5.1 with a proprietary user interface OUI 4.0. The device is compatible with smartphones running Android 4.3 and iOS 9.0 and above.
Those who hurry, Omate Rise will cost $220, not counting the gift in the person of a free heart rate sensor from Nordic Semiconductor. Watch will arrive on the market in March next year for about $350.
