Released jailbreak Seas0nPass for Apple TV 2G with support for OS X El Capitan

In the summer of last year, along with iOS 7.1.2 and OS X 10.9.4 Mavericks Apple has released a cumulative update for Apple TV. Quite traditionally, the company has recommended an update 6.2.1 to all users of “Apple” devices of the second and third generations. We now know that this was the last update for Apple TV 2G, all other releases have been available only for Apple TV third generation.

A year after the release of the update, the company announced FireCore updated Seas0nPass tool – utility to crack Apple TV 2G. The program has received the compatibility with the new desktop platform OS X El Capitan, by performing untethered set-top box with IOS 6.2.1 (iOS 7.1.2).

Recall that Seas0nPass is a popular jailbreak application that allows you to hack Apple set-top box second generation. With its help you can create custom firmware for Apple TV and install them on the device with a few clicks on the remote control. Utility still compatible only with second generation devices. Apple TV 3G still cannot be hacked by any existing exploits.
