Production of the iPhone can be placed in the U.S. state of Wisconsin

The company Foxconn, which is the largest contract partner of Apple, plans to build a plant for the production of the iPhone in the state of Wisconsin (USA). This publication reports the Associated Press.

An anonymous tipster familiar with the situation, says the state government is currently discussing the possibility of construction of the plant with representatives of Foxconn, although the details of the deal yet. The volume of investments in its construction may be of the order of $7 billion.

Due to the deal there will be about 50,000 new jobs. Of course, working conditions and pay at this plant will be much better than in the factories of Foxconn in China, where the monotonous hard work, there are cases of suicide. In the construction of such enterprises are also interested in Michigan.

This week the US President Donald trump called for the city of Milwaukee (the administrative center of the eponymous district in Wisconsin), later stating in an interview that the Governor of the state can expect a very pleasant surprise. He added that he took part in negotiations with the largest manufacturer of smartphones, computers and televisions.

Earlier this year a student at new York University described the working conditions in one factory with another partner of Apple company Pegatron, where the workweek is 60 hours at the sum of $450 per month.

Rumors that Foxconn will open a factory in the United States appeared in November last year, when Apple asked its partners to consider this opportunity. In January, Foxconn confirmed that she, along with Apple will spend $7 billion on construction of a plant in the States.
