Police in the US have seized an illegal shipment of 500 iPhone and Apple gift cards to $600 000

“Two detainees provided support to the investigators allowing to search the vehicle and providing receipts for payment of goods. In total, the police seized 470 iPhone for about $292 000 and hundreds of iTunes gift cards worth $585 000. The investigation led detectives to the FedEx store near where the suspects produced numerous packaging with the iPhone to send to Hong Kong. The total cost of illegal shipment of Apple products was estimated at three quarters of a million dollars.”
