The resource androidpolice found out that the new smartphones Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL can display the charge connected wireless devices.
Unfortunately, checking the level of charge is not as simple as viewing notifications. This can be done in several ways.
Currently, the user can see the battery level in the sub-menu for quick settings, Bluetooth, paired devices list, and under “device Information”.
This feature has been tested on headphones Jaybird X1, X2, X3 and Run. Each of the models supported it. Hence, we can conclude that this “trick” is not only added to the Android system, but fully functional with supported devices.
In addition to smartphones Pixel 2, Google introduced Pixel and wireless headphones Buds. Probably originally a display function charge connected wireless devices have been created for this headset.
Pixel Buds – compact wireless headphones with built-in translator. Headset works 5 hours on a single charge, and a complete case to charge provides 24 hours of battery life.
In the description of the wireless headphone Buds Pixel from Google Play you can already see how it will look in the notification battery level of the Bluetooth device. Now nothing of the kind appears. Perhaps this feature will be added later, or will only work with Pixel Buds.
Such solutions make the operation of wireless headsets more comfortable.
