PhotoFast has released an SD card reader for devices with Lightning interface

PhotoFast has introduced a device for reading memory cards on iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. Reader CR-8710 supports cards of SD format.

To date, most of our photos taken from smartphones and tablets, are stored in formats such as JPG, PNG, GIF, etc. Given the limited conventional color display during image playback, pictures are compressed up to a certain standard in order to ensure their high-quality display and less storage. However, when users need to view the photos large format printing, they are often unpleasantly surprised by a sudden loss of detail and color in the image.

Now iOS 10 support RAW files, which ensures the complete preservation of image quality with wide color gamut and a simple photo processing; now there is an opportunity to optimize them with the best quality after these photos were taken. On the other hand, RAW files has a drawback: the files are larger and also have higher requirements for maintenance. And although the iPhone 7 minimum memory size is 32 GB, it is already possible to anticipate that the demand for external memory storage will only grow.

SD card reader, PhotoFast CR-8710 made in matte black color to match the majority of professional SLR cameras. The intent of the manufacturer, the product will allow owners of iOS devices to view videos with ultra-high resolution 4K / 60P and photo in RAW format stored on the memory card.

“Now that Apple has secured the preservation of the original photos in RAW format and video in ultra-high resolution 4K / 60P done with the iPhone 7 Plus, I can only assume that the iPhone, with even greater capacity, will not be enough. Mobile app not only allows you to save backup copies of information and RAW files on the SD card, but also to direct access photos on iPhone. App CameraRoll + App provides two-way backup, and also supports panoramic 360-degree image.
