Philips presented a set of “smart” lighting Hue Wireless Dimming Kit $40

Philips has introduced a system of “smart” lighting Hue Wireless Dimming Kit that allows you to remotely create the right atmosphere in the house. The company stresses that the system is ready to use right out of the box.

Hue Wireless Dimming Kit consists of one “smart” lamp in white and a control module. Lamp, unlike many other products in this range Hue, is not able to display lots of different colors, but the specified module or smartphone allow you to adjust the brightness of the bulb.

The minimum lighting level is not more than 1% of the maximum value, equal to 800 lumens. The control module operates from a single battery CR2450, designed for 50,000 clicks. According to Philips, the battery will have to change not more frequently than once every three years.
