Performance test iPhone 7: Android-competitors doesn’t stand a chance

A few days after Apple showed the world the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, in the Internet appeared the test results of the flagship Apple’s smartphone in the benchmark Geekbench, Kraken, and Google Octane. Conducted by the resource ArsTechnica tests evaluate the performance of the processor and system memory new devices.

According to the results of testing an updated smartphone, the iPhone 7 is built on the processor-based 4-core processor a10 Fusion, in which two energy-efficient cores operate at a clock frequency of 1.05 GHz, and the high-performance two – 2.34 GHz. It is possible to obtain a performance gain of up to 40% compared to the iPhone 6s, and according to the results of the test AnTuTu smartphone the iPhone 7 has set a record with 178 000 points.

The result of the iPhone 7 in the test GeekBench with one-amounted to 3506 points, with two – 6073 points. In relation to the previous model the increase was impressive in the benchmark the iPhone 6s demonstrates 2537 and 4410 points, respectively; the results of its predecessor, the iPhone 6 – 1633 and 2910 points.

If you compare the achievements of the new flagship Apple with top-end Android smartphones, the latter simply has no chance. So, the closest rival of Samsung Galaxy Note 7 scored 2312 points in single core test and 5269 – in multi-core.

In the Kraken benchmark, which measures the speed of Javascript (the less the better), the iPhone 7 Plus shows a record result 1110,8 MS. The new smartphone Apple was the leader in the test and Google Octane (the more the better) – 26 413 MS.
