Founder of “Vkontakte” Pavel Durov said that the project Manager Snapster Oleg Illarionov, which explained why the social network has decided to disable links to rival Instagram. According to Durov, is unprecedented in world practice, a phenomenon that demonstrates the cowardice of the social network.
Oleg Illarionov stated that “Vkontakte” seeks to introduce a handy feature: when you insert links on Instagram now, the social network immediately loads the photo, though it does not link to the website. “It’s convenient for users, but inconvenient for those users who are indifferent, and the number of followers on Instagram interesting,” he said.
The representative of “Vkontakte” added that in this market there is, and never was the rules of wrestling”. He gave the example that Instagram in the latest update prohibited third-party applications to use hashtags. “You no more #vscocam, #instasize, #snapsterapp,” said Illarionov.
