Parallels has released a third version of Parallels Access with a new game mode and support for Apple Watch

Parallels introduced a new version of Parallels Access app for remote access to PC and Mac. It was released for mobile devices running iOS and Android and includes features that will allow you to freely share files of any size with any other people, without having to install, manage and maintain cloud services. The process can now be managed directly from the application on PC or Mac. Also the new release includes support for the Apple Watch for convenient remote access management.

“Today and ordinary users, and business mobile devices are increasingly becoming full working tools, and this trend is only growing. In the latest version of Parallels Access is a new function that will make the remote work with mobile devices and computers with modern web browsers even easier, and would preserve native gestures and functions of the devices, – said Parallels President Jack Zubarev. – Parallels Access will make readily available any application or file from your remote working and home computers in a single click, regardless of where you are, so you can work effectively even in the road.”

Parallels Access allows you to turn smartphones and tablets into powerful computing devices, as it gives them the ability to remotely launch applications, edit documents, search for files on a remote computer and to access them using a universal file Manager. In addition, the same can be done with remote access via a web browser on the computer from which you access, no need to install any additional software. Technology Applification allows the use of desktop applications as if they were created specifically for tablets and phones.

The company also made sure to help users better and more interesting to play desktop PC games on iPad, this Parallels Access added experimental support for gaming mode. In this mode, you can connect to the games on your computer and manage them from your tablet – it has improved controls and an editor with which you can create your own combination of touch keys for quick access to various commands in games such as Diablo III, the Elder Scroll: Skyrim, NFS Rivals, League of Legends and Borderlands 2.

Extra features for iOS and Android:

  • Universal file Manager with support for local files, cloud storage, with the ability to preview files and access the photos.
  • A new way to connect to the file Manager — direct access to files on another PC without having to navigate to the screen of the remote computer.
  • The ability to move files from a remote computer to other iOS or Android app.
  • Working with multiple monitors access from PC to PC using web browser: switch between available screens or displays.
  • Directly with Parallels Access you can now view the photos stored on the mobile device, and copy them using our application on the remote computer. Also available directly from Parallels Access take a photo and then copy it on your PC or Mac.

Extra features only for iOS:

  • Support for Apple Watch: additional app allows you to see right on the screen “smart hours” list of remote computers, initiate a connection to them and to use the Wake-on-LAN, and to control the playback of media files on a remote computer.
  • Universal support for horizontal and vertical device orientation.
  • Service support OneDrive for cloud storage (in addition to the existing support for Google Drive and Dropbox).
  • Preview files as icons in the file Manager for easier navigation.
  • Support for 64-bit operating systems to the new architecture of the processor on your iOS devices.

App Parallels Access is available in the App Store and Google Play c free trial period for one week. The annual subscription is 649 rubles, subscribe for two years – 1129 rubles and includes access to a maximum of five remote PC. Computer requirements: PC with Windows 10, Windows 8.1, Windows 8 or Windows 7 or Mac OS X El Capitan (experimental support), OS X Yosemite or OS X Mavericks.
