One year: users of Samsung Galaxy S6 waited update of Android 6.0 Marshmallow

On Monday, Samsung announced the beginning of distribution of the update to Android 6.0 Marshmallow on flagship smartphones Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge – a week before the presentation of the next generation models. Smartphone users can download the OS four months after the release of a new software platform Google.

Android 6.0 Marshmallow was announced in may 2015 at the conference for developers Google I/O, and the official release OS for a “reference” of the devices took place in early October. Users of the Samsung Galaxy S6 is not the only one who waiting for the latest Android version. Owners of the Galaxy S5, A8 and Galaxy Tab S 10.5 will have to wait “six” until spring — until they turn comes in March-April 2016. And smartphones edition 2013 – Galaxy S4 and Galaxy Note 3 – will not receive the actual update. Owners of the flagship Sony Xperia Z5 delivered the long-awaited release only in early February. The process of preparing updates of the Android devices is divided into five stages: evaluation, development, integration, certification, and distribution.
