On Kickstarter raising money for the smallest in the world charging for smartphones [video]

Design Studio Design on Impulse, located in the capital of great Britain, presented the smallest in the world chargers for smartphones. When folded it is a cube with a side of 17 mm.

Two engineering graduate of one of the London universities announced the development of ultra-compact devices for emergency charging of smartphones: a key chain, in a folded state representing a cube and unfolded – two magnets connected by a leather strap. Design weighs only 10 grams.

To charge your smartphone will need a pair of penlight AA batteries, which are installed between the magnets and fixed them. One of the magnets provided by micro-USB or Lightning, through which you can recharge smartphones Samsung, LG, HTC and Apple.

 

The developers promise that after recharging this thumb most modern smartphones will be able to work up to hours of talk time or up to seven hours — in standby mode. For half an hour the phone battery is charged at 10%.

At the moment Design on Impulse raises funds to provide a device with the help of Kickstarter. Of 6 000 pounds required to start production, collected about 5300. The gadget will cost the first buyers at £ 20 (about 2000 rubles).
