Nokia announced the return to the smartphone market

The Finnish company Nokia announced the return of its brand to the global market of smartphones and tablets. Gadgets under license from Nokia to develop a new HMD Global company.

It is noted that the Finnish company Global HMD was created specifically for distribution of electronics under the Nokia brand. Itself Nokia Technologies will join the Board of Directors of the new company, which will lead as CEO Arto Numero, a former top Manager of Nokia and current head of mobile devices division of Microsoft in Asia, Africa and the middle East. In the next three years, HMD is going to invest in the promotion of devices under the Nokia brand is $500 million.
