“Night projector” for smartphones DreamMe gathered on KickStarter 3.5 times more than needed

On the website Kickstarter successfully raised funds for the project in the device confer any smartphone a new feature to project images on the ceiling of the bedroom. Unusual gadget was named DreamMe.

The most amazing thing about the new product, developed by German inventor Yvonne Joch, the fact that anyone never have thought of that simple idea. Now everyone today has a smartphone, and almost everyone puts it overnight to charge on the nightstand next to the bed. Why not use it to display the right information? But the mapping is not simple, and readable by a man who only a couple of seconds opened his eyes at night.

The device itself DreamMe quite simple, it does no electronics. It’s just consisting of several lenses of the projection lens that displays information from your smartphone’s screen on the ceiling. As a bedside table or a table on which lay a smartphone can have a different height, and the distance to the ceiling is also different in different rooms, the lens equipped with a focus ring.

The “smart” part of the project is a mobile application that displays the time, weather, the latest posts by email. And most importantly — helps the user to fall asleep, showing sheep, counting which will help to fall asleep. Of course, it has an alarm clock. “Advanced” version of the app allows you to see the time and weather in other cities, the number of unread messages and the last message on Twitter. Versions are available for iOS and Android.

Supporting the project DreamMe on Kickstarter, you can get the lens for 16 euros, and just at the time the post was able to collect almost 23 700 euros, which is 3.5 times target developers.
