On Tuesday, October 4th, Google will officially unveil new smartphones Pixel and Pixel XL. Prior to the event, a major British online store Carphone Warhouse has unveiled the technical characteristics of new products.
According to the retailer, the Google Pixel XL lies the hardware platform Snapdragon 821 with a 4-core processor with a frequency up to 2.15 GHz and a graphics accelerator Adreno 530. A new smartphone equipped with 4 GB of RAM, 32 GB or 128 GB of flash memory, 5.5-inch AMOLED-display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and protection Gorilla Glass 4, and a slot microSD.
The smartphone is running Android 7.1 Nougat and comes with a 12-megapixel main camera with f/2.0 aperture, large of 1.55-µm pixels and support for optical image stabilization.
There is also a front-facing 8-megapixel camera, USB connector-C, NFC, a fingerprint scanner below the main camera and battery capacity 3490 mAh technology to support quick charge, thanks to which 15 minutes of charging the device will last for 7 hours of work. The novelty has dimensions of 154.7 x 75,7 x 8.6 mm and weighs 168 g.
Characteristics of the Google Pixel differ little from the features of its larger counterpart. However, the gadget is equipped with a more compact 5-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and the battery, 2770 mAh. The smartphone weighs 143 g and has dimensions 143,8 x 69.5 x 8.6 mm.
