New 21.5-inch iMac with 4K display will be released next week

Next week Apple will update monoblock computers iMac, reports 9to5Mac, citing an informed source in the company. It comes with 21.5-inch model, which will receive the ultra-crisp display and better graphics.

That another member of the family iMac embarked on the production lines in early September, told the resource DigiTimes, Taiwanese manufacturers involved in the supply chain of electronics and accessories. New 21.5-inch AIO PC will differ from the predecessor processor with great performance and higher quality screen. After high model display a higher resolution (4K) will receive 21.5-inch iMac. The reference device with a resolution of 4096 x 2304 pixels (compared to 1920 x 1080 the current model) was previously discovered in the bowels of one of the beta versions of the operating system OS X El Capitan.

With this product, the total supply of iMac can be ahead of production of monoblocks Lenovo in the second half of the year, noted in the publication edition.

Apple currently produces around 4 million iMacs, which approximately corresponds to the indicator Lenovo, however, the American manufacturer of computers have a much higher average cost. For comparison, currently the cheapest iMac available for $1100, while the same price tag has the most advanced Lenovo computer class “all-in-one”. The cost of the monoblocks Chinese vendor starts at $400.
