MTS following the “Beeline” launches “truly unlimited Internet” for smartphone

Mobile operator MTS has announced the launch of new tariff “Smart Bezlimita” around the clock with unlimited mobile Internet and calls within MTS network without restrictions. The tariff, as reported, focuses on active users of smartphones.

In the framework of the tariff “Smart Bezlimita” subscribers have no limit on download traffic, said the company. In March 2016 the same option presented to the other operator “the big three” — Beeline.

Tariff plan “Smart Bezlimita with daily pay 12.9 ruble around the clock includes unlimited mobile Internet, unlimited calls to MTS home region, and Russia and the possibility to use the tariff across the country on the same conditions as at home.

The cost of the first month of use tariff will be 387 rubles, the subsequent — 570 rubles per month. In “Smart Bezlimita” there is no limit on the speed of the Internet, and in travel to Russia, there are conditions in your home area. In terms of use tariff stated that “if increased load on the network the speed of Internet access may be limited”.

“We see a continuous rise in the popularity of mobile Internet, almost half of the users in our database already use smartphones. We expect that the new tariff with unlimited Internet brand and the packages of calls and SMS is very much in demand”, – noted in MTS.

In March 2016 tariffs with unlimited Internet introduced the “Beeline”. This option was introduced in the postpaid tariff line “Everything!” the cost of the proposal in Moscow starts from 500 rubles per month. Up to this point, unlimited Internet access was only from the operator Yota, which belongs to “MegaFon”. The cost of the tariffs of Yota in Moscow starts from 440 rubles a month, “Beeline” — from 500 roubles a month.

In February of this year, the head of “Beeline” Mikhail Slobodin said that the cellular market will grow only by increasing the cost of mobile Internet. Operators need to abandon unlimited plans and cheap packages with a large volume of the included traffic, he argued.
