Drivers can now pay fines for traffic violations with 50% discount updated through the app “Park of Moscow”. This was reported on the official website of the Moscow mayor.
According to the changes in Federal legislation, which came into force on 1 January 2016, to pay a fine with a discount for traffic violations within 20 days of its receipt. Motorists can pay half the amount for a small speeding on the road, stop or Park under prohibiting signs and other structurally unstable traffic violations.
The discount is not available if the driver will be prosecuted for driving in a condition of alcoholic intoxication, traffic accidents with victims, as well as for repeated offenses such as speeding more than 40 km/h, journey on forbidding signal of a traffic light and others. For unpaid Parking in the paid Parking zone will have to pay the full amount of the fine in the amount of 2500 rubles as a fine is set not by the Federal and city legislation.
The app will tell you what receipts can be redeemed for half price. To do this in the section “Fines” updated application, you must select the desired vehicle from the list of registered and paid.
