Moscow authorities have launched an app Electronic Atlas with interactive panoramas and map plugs

The Department of information technology launched the application “Electronic Atlas” with three-dimensional panoramas of Moscow and card jams. The service is available for users of iOS and Android platforms, there is also a web version of “Atlas”.

The application uses the information from the open data portal and integrates other municipal services. At the moment, with the help of Atlas to learn about their fines, set notifications in the event of evacuation of the car, to communicate with other drivers in the chat. The service also allows you to see on a map all kinds of car parks to find the location of cells in the yard with CCTV and street clocks.

“In addition, the application allows to know the time of disconnect of hot water in the house, monitor utilities. Users are provided with a full list of centres in the districts of Moscow. You can even trace, how many people are already standing in the queue in the right Department. It is anticipated that through the app you can sign up to the doctor. However, while this service is not valid”, – stated in the message.

App users can enjoy 3D panoramas of the capital in different seasons – spring, summer and fall. At the moment, the panorama can be viewed by typing in the specific service address. Soon will the new version of the app that will fix known bugs and flaws.

“Now it is difficult to find in the Annex of the panorama, we will simplify access to them. You can also generate routes”, – said the head of the Department of industry projects Department of information technology Kirill Kuznetsov.

As specified in the article, the developers also plan to add in the “Electronic Atlas” routes from service Learn about Moscow. This application enables you to use your smartphone to read QR codes on famous buildings and monuments of Moscow and learn interesting facts about the sights.

“We expect that this will be MULTIFLASH that has no analogues in “Yandex” or Google, from the point of view of the information available to the user,” said K. Kuznetsov.
