Early next year Microsoft will raise the price of the Windows operating system and software in Russia. The price increase will affect both corporate buyers and regular users, price growth will be 9-10%.
As reports Cnews, the representatives of the Russian office of Microsoft has officially confirmed the information about the upcoming price increases. This means that the cost of software, and Windows 10 will rise in the first months of next year.
“The planned price adjustment of the software for corporate customers will change to 9%. Ten percent will be limited to increase the indicative prices for Home Windows 10 and Windows 10 Pro”, — said the publication of President of Microsoft in Russia Pavel Betsis.
According to President Microsoft in Russia, improving the indicative prices for Windows 10 will not exceed 10%. He stressed that for almost two months, the company’s products can be purchased at the same price.
In Microsoft noted that customers with Enterprise Agreements, the prices will remain unchanged throughout the term of the license. In addition, devices such as game consoles Xbox, will next year be sold at the old prices. Will remain the same and the cost of cloud services.
The previous rise in prices of Microsoft products in our country took place in early 2016. It ranged from 9% to 25% and raised the majority of the company’s products.
