Microsoft is developing a keyboard for iPad

Microsoft may be developing a keyboard for the iPad. The model, codenamed “iPod Touch Cover” with the index 1719 is mentioned on the Microsoft website, documents associated with lithium batteries.

In The Verge suggests that the keyboard will be similar to keyboard Surface Pro. It is known that the keyboard has its own battery. Rather, it is designed to connect with the tablet via Bluetooth. It is possible that the keyboard will connect to your iPad Pro via a smart connector, but this is unlikely, because Apple doesn’t sell licenses to the smart connector. But given the fact that the company is not the first year working, Apple could provide an exclusive license for Microsoft.

In 2014, Microsoft has released a keyboard that can work with devices running iOS and Android. A new keyboard would be a great addition to the iPad Pro, especially after the release of iOS 11.
