Not all Windows 10 users will be able to upgrade to the latest version of the OS. The reason for this are compatibility issues with Intel Atom Clover Trail with the operating system.
Microsoft has not added support for processors from the Intel Atom Clover Trail Windows 10 upgrade Creators Update. Initially, these chips were designed to produce tablets on Windows 8. And although the series Clover Trail did not enjoy much popularity on the basis of these microchips work millions of devices.
This information is confirmed by representatives of Acer. According to them, the update is not supported by the Atom processor Z2760, Atom Z2520, Atom Z2560 and Atom Z2580. What caused the incompatibility, is unknown. Currently, the company together with specialists from Microsoft is trying to determine the cause of this problem.
“If you install update Windows 10 Update, Creators, icons and text might appear as solid colored blocks or columns or do not appear,” warned the company.
Update Creators Update was released in April, and Microsoft still has not completed its distribution: a large number of users continue to use the older version of this operating system. This is partly due to the fact that the users are not in a hurry to upgrade your PC but also there are compatibility issues that Microsoft failed to win.
In September 2017 is expected to release the next major update of Windows 10 — Fall Creators Update. The participants of the program Windows Insider is already testing it at the same time as Microsoft adds new features.
