Metro passengers complained about the threat of ISIL when connecting to free Wi-Fi

Several passengers of the Moscow metro has addressed in police with the statement for obtaining information from the threats of terrorist attacks when you try to connect to the free Wi-Fi in the subway. The incident was recorded at several stations Kaluzhsko-Riga line.

When you try to connect to the free wifi network of the Moscow metro instead of the usual menu users see on the screen the black ISIL flag that says “Yesterday — Paris, today to Moscow!”

“My friend and I were driving along the Riga line and decided to use the Internet. I pulled out my tablet and tried to connect to Wi-Fi, but instead of the login page on the screen appeared the image of a black flag with Arabic inscriptions. Above the flag was the signature: “Yesterday Paris, today to Moscow!”, — told the LifeNews Denis Savin. We were worried and decided to go to the police at the metro station “Prospect Mira”.

Denis Savin and his friend Alexey Komov managed to take a screenshot and pass it to the police, this fact is tackled in the police Department for the district. Several cases were reported later in other police departments. It is noteworthy that the operator Wi-Fi at the station denied the fact of failure.

“We have no glitches are not fixed, and no proof that he was indeed, not,” commented the official representative of “Maximalism” Ilya Grabowski.

On this fact the Metropolitan police began checking in the near future will be solved a question on excitation of criminal case.

This is not the first time that free Wi-Fi network of the Moscow metro is attacked by hackers. So, in may of this year, thousands of passengers saw the porn on the screens of their smartphones and tablets instead of the usual home page. And in early November, passengers of the Moscow metro complained about insults when you connect to free Wi-Fi. On the home page were placed crude jokes and advertisements for sexual services. Then the representatives of the provider explained what happened that passengers have chosen the wrong network.
