Media: iPhone 2017 will receive quick charging and the function “tap to wake”

The information published close to Apple sources, indicates the company’s intention to release next year, three iPhone. New smartphones Apple will be iPhone 7s iPhone 7s Plus and 5-inch iPhone 8 with vertical dual camera. The latest model is codenamed Ferrari. Up to this point, details about premium Apple has been known for quite a lot.

Today blogger Sonny Dickson reported that Apple plans to add to its smartphones the function of fast charging. Almost all gadgets in this price range for charging is sufficient for 90 minutes, when the latest iPhone has to hold sockets more than 2 hours.

According to independent tests, the iPhone 7 charged in 2 hours 8 minutes, while the iPhone 7 Plus goes on, it’s 3 hours and 16 minutes. The current flagship Apple does not use fast charging technology, while the manufacturer has increased the capacity of the batteries, so the latest generation Apple devices charged slower than their predecessors.

Another “premium” technology, which became known sources, appears, probably, only in the iPhone 8. The feature is called “tap to wake” (“touch to Wake”). What will constitute this technology was not reported, however, in some Android smartphones have the option “double tap to wake” which allows you to unlock the device screen by double-tapping on the screen.

Earlier in mass media already there were other predictions about the future high-end smartphone from Apple. Presumably, the “eight” will have a completely new curved OLED display. Along with glass, not the metal housing makes the smartphone even thinner and lighter.

Formerly known KGI Securities expert Ming-Chi Kuo called the target price of the iPhone 8. According to him the most expensive smartphone from Apple will cost about $800 or a little more expensive. “Meanwhile, Apple needs to maintain its presence on the market low price segment, and the new LCD version of the iPhone 7s will take place in the company’s portfolio,” — said Ming-Chi Kuo.
