“Mail of Russia” and “Mail of Hong Kong” together with the logistics company Cainiao launched a new product SRM (Simplified Registered Mail, simple registered package), which allows users to track their orders from the trading platform AliExpress cost from $2. This is stated in the message of the Russian postal service.
Before sending a small average bills often went unrecorded as of departure, they were not assigned a number, and no online shopping, no postal administration. Accordingly, neither online stores nor the users could not track such items.
Track the parcel using the SRM can be in three main statuses, which allow the recipient to see the actual date of dispatch of his order, and the date of arrival at the Department of “Mail of Russia”. In turn, the sender, in addition to these statuses, has the ability to track the receipt of the goods by the buyer as a condition for the receipt of money for the sent order.
Deputy General Director of “Mail of Russia” in the mail order business, and Express delivery Sergei Malyshev said that the delivery time on recorded traffic and service SRM is 6-10 days from Hong Kong.
Before implementation of SRM shopping with the trading platform AliExpress from $2 and above often went unrecorded as of departure.
“In most cases, the forwarding of such shipments went by sea or by land through transit countries-mediators, which adversely affected the delivery time, as well as significantly increasing the risk of loss or damage to items. The launch of a new product SRM is designed to ensure reliability of delivery and a significant reduction in the share of untraceable shipments,” — said the head of the Cainiao (Alibaba Group) in Russia Alex Vasiliev.
