LG to supply OLED displays for iPhone X

Recently there was a rumor that Apple has already signed with LG a contract to supply OLED-displau for the new iPhone and stopped the exclusivity of a similar contract with Samsung. In this regard, LG asked to comment on the situation.

The struggle to deal with Apple began after the amount was announced that the company expects to spend on organic displays: 13.7 billion U.S. dollars. It was also reported that Apple will separately pay LG 2.7 billion USD for the production of OLED-screens for the iPhone.

LG is not the only competitor Samsung to supply OLED displays, about which to worry. Recently the BOE announced that it intends to build two large-scale production line of organic screens exclusively for Apple orders.
