LG Display will supply OLED displays for the same model iPhone

According to the Financial Times, in 2018, LG Display is the sole supplier of a 6.5-inch OLED displays for iPhone.It is reported that the South Korean company will produce more than 15 million displays for the new iPhone, which is expected in 2018. According to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the pixel density of a 6.5-inch smartphone will be 480-500 dpi.

Samsung is the only company that produces displays for the iPhone X. the Financial Times reports that in 2018, the company will continue to cooperate with Apple to supply OLED displays for the 5.8-inch and 6-inch iPhone.

Starting July 2017, reports emerged that LG Display has invested 13.5 billion dollars in the production of OLED-screens. Initially it was assumed that the company will start shipping displays for the iPhone in 2019, but most likely, it will happen sooner.
