Lexar JumpDrive M20i: flash keychain with Lightning connectors and USB 3.0

The company has introduced the Lexar flash drives JumpDrive M20i and M20c, created specifically for owners of mobile devices based on iOS and Android.

Novelty is equipped with dual connectors — Lightning & USB or micro-USB and USB. This enables you to effortlessly transfer files from portable devices to personal computers (with OS X or Windows) and Vice versa. The main feature of the drives is in the name of a family of JumpDrive. This two-position slide mechanism, depending on its position exposing the port for either smartphone or for your computer.

The drive created an accompanying mobile app. With its help you can configure the synchronization of files between a flash stick and a smartphone or tablet. In addition, the program provides cryptographic functions: data can be protected with a password on your iPhone or iPad and then open on a PC.

Lexar also notes that users JumpDrive M20c and M20i can play multimedia files on your mobile device directly from a USB flash stick.

Model M20c JumpDrive equipped ports USB-C and USB 3.0, the device is equipped with eyelet for attaching to keyring. The streaming speed read and write up to 150 and 60 MB/s, respectively, for media 32 GB and 64 GB and 130/25 MB/sec for model 16 GB. JumpDrive M20i, in turn, will be useful to owners of Apple devices with Lightning connector and all the rest — thanks to the USB 3.0 port. The speed of read and write operations when the stream reach 95 and 20 MB/s, respectively.

The JumpDrive M20c price depends on volume and is $21, $28 and $42, media JumpDrive M20i will cost $50, $70 and $100 respectively for the versions with 16, 32 and 64 GB of memory.
